Madison Beer, New York's sensational pop artist is bringing her signature sounds to the Crescent Ballroom!
Madison Elle Beer was born in Jericho (New York) in 1999 and is a singer and actress. She began her musical journey in 2012 by posting YouTube videos of her covers of popular songs. Her breakthrough came in the same year when Justin Bieber tweeted a video of her singing R&B and soul singer Etta James' 1960 hit single, At Last. It wasn't long before she got a record deal and she released her debut single (Melodies) in 2013. Her musical style is best described as a blend of pop, teen pop (a subgenre of pop music characterized by auto-tuned vocals, choreographed dancing, emphasis on visual appeal, repeated chorus lines, and lyrics focused on teenage issues such as love/relationships, finding yourself, friendships, coming of age, fitting in and growing up), R&B, and indie. She's released 1 extended play, 6 singles, and she's collaborated with Jack and Jack, Cody Simpson, and Mako. She's currently working on her debut studio album and she says it'll have "low songs, sad songs, happy songs, songs about boys, and songs about being who you are." She's also starred in the 2014 drama film Louder Than Words.
